Off Track on Hiatus
I'm dying to get out myself, however most places like FOMBA are closed right now to riders for good reason. With all the mud, any riding can really damage the trails due to rutting.
Wait a few more weeks for things to firm up a bit. You can keep an eyeball on the trail conditions on forums like mtbr.com, nemba.org and bustedspoke.com
Tom is absolutely right, and I feel like a jerk for not mentioning this point. Some of the trails that I ride are gnawed pretty hard by ATVs year round (including the aforementioned powerline path); I don't worry so much about the impact of my mnt. bike on those areas but in general, all off roaders should stay off all trails at this time of year, till the terra gets a bit more firma.
