  • Andrew - sorry that you hurt yourself- i remember passing you (I ran catiously as didn't want to get injured -only my 3rd trail race) as you were nursing your leg...I know exactly where you got lost as my friends Frank and Anton did too - I enjoyed the run as the distance was magaeable -would like to try it in drier weather. congrats on finishing and on at least running fat for part of it!

  • The trails are like that - there are days and there are days. Don't let it get to you too much and it looks like you're on the right track. BTW, even on a dry day, the Soapstone stream bed doesn't seem to get much drier than that.

  • I was not that impressed with my beating you Andrew since you were walking near the end ; ) but my cool new sneaks beat yours hands down...so I got that going for me..

  • Don't you hate getting lost - you keep running in hopes you're going the right way... looking for any signs and then Bingo some miles away yells out " You're going the wrong way!"

Rest up and you will feel better.
