Andrew - I
I know the feeling. As I train for my marathon this fall, I have placed myself on the DL a few times. Each time that I do resting, stretching and waiting from my knee or calf to heal...I have to remind myself that taking the time now to heal will mean less time missed later and longer training runs later.
Rest up...do you stretches...and you will be out running sooner than you think. BTW riding your mountain bike will keep your cardiovascular system active. We bought Meghan and Wesley bikes (their 1st) today. In a few weeks, we should be able to all go for a family bike ride.
